Dear members and friends,
We cordially invite you to visit us at our table next Monday at the 9th Gastmahl4All – Dresden is(s)t bunt – on Neumarkt.
Year after year, thousands of people gather at the banquet to celebrate diversity, openness and hospitality – in a relaxed atmosphere with good food and an open atmosphere. On Monday, 31 August 2026, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., about 270 tables will be placed on Neumarkt.
Together with all Dresden clubs, Inner Wheel and Rotaract, we represent Rotary as an important player in our urban society, eating, talking and networking with guests and participants from other organisations, institutions and companies.
We especially invite you to sign up for an hour of service at our table. We will be serving refreshing drinks and have a wheel of fortune and international sweets for children. Don't worry, no preparation is necessary.
We also are looking forward to welcome our District Governor Sven Rössel.

Dear Members and Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to a very special Zoom meeting featuring Lieutenant General (Ret.) Dr. Jarosław Gromadziński, one of Poland's most distinguished military leaders and strategic thinkers. During his distinguished career, General Gromadziński held several senior command positions in the Polish Armed Forces and has extensive experience in NATO operations and European security. His unique perspective on the rapidly changing security environment in Europe makes him a very interesting speaker for our club.
Over the past five years, Poland has undergone one of the most remarkable military transformations in Europe. Today, it fields the third-largest armed forces in Europe, while making unprecedented investments in modern equipment, advanced technologies, and domestic defense industry capabilities. At the same time, Poland has been actively incorporating the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine into its military doctrine, training, and procurement strategies.
Given Poland's proximity to Russia and the heightened awareness of potential security threats, Polish society has shown strong support for expanding the country's military capabilities and increasing defense spending. This national commitment has reshaped both Poland's strategic posture and its role within NATO.
General Gromadziński will provide us with an insider's perspective on these developments, discussing Poland's military modernization, the evolving European security landscape, and the implications for our region. The presentation will be followed by a Question & Answer session, giving members the opportunity to gain valuable insights from one of the region's most knowledgeable experts on defense and security.
